Hello- I am working with the HoxC11 Antibody (HOX5J232): sc-81293 and I am not picking up endogenous expression in my cell lines. Has this antibody ever been used to pick up endogenous HOXC11 expression and if so, which cell line was used?

Asked by: AndyWoods
Thank you for your question. We do not currently have any published data using this antibody to detect endogenous HoxC11. We are still gathering data to show on our website. Check back for updates! Please contact our Technical Service Department for assistance in troubleshooting this antibody.

I am using HoxC11 (HOX5J232): sc-81293 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunoprecipitation protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoprecipitation-western-blots
