HLX1 Antibody (1B9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects HLX1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HLX1 antibody (1B9) is available as the non-conjugated format. HLX1 protein, also known as Homeobox protein HB24, consists of 488 amino acids and is encoded by the human gene HLX1. HLX1 (1B9) monoclonal antibody recognizes a member of the H2.0 homeobox family featuring a homeobox DNA-binding domain, which is crucial for its role as a transcription factor. HLX1 is primarily expressed in hematopoietic progenitors and activated lymphocytes, where HLX1 plays a vital role in the maturation of T helper 1 (Th1) cells by regulating TBX21/T-bet-dependent gene expression. Proper functioning of HLX1 is essential for embryogenesis and hematopoiesis, as HLX1 influences the development and differentiation of immune cells. Notably, overexpression of HLX1 can lead to an increase in activated T cells and Interleukin-2 receptor expression, which may disrupt the normal development of CD4+ T cells and hinder thymic involution. This highlights the importance of HLX1 in maintaining immune homeostasis and its potential implications in immune-related disorders.
