    SEE ALSO...

HHIPL1 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HHIPL1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-HHIPL1 antibody (H-11) is available as the non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. HHIPL1, also known as hedgehog-interacting protein-like protein 1, plays a significant role in regulating Hedgehog signaling, which is crucial for proper growth and tissue patterning during embryonic development. Located in the extracellular space, HHIPL1 interacts with Hedgehog proteins, including Sonic hedgehog, to modulate their activity. This interaction helps fine-tune signaling pathways that govern cell proliferation and differentiation, ensuring tissues develop correctly. HHIPL1 can bind to Hedgehog proteins and inhibit their signaling, which is essential for maintaining the balance of cellular processes during development and in adult tissues. HHIPL1 consists of 782 amino acids and features a distinct HHIP domain, with two isoforms generated through alternative splicing, highlighting its complexity and potential regulatory roles in various biological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515618 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
