What type of secondary antibodies are recommended to use for this antibody? Is it possible to use horseradish peroxidase secondary antibodies?

Asked by: Lea_
Thank you for your question. You can use any anti-mouse secondary, including HRP conjugated secondary antibodies. We recommend using our Mouse IgG Binding protein, you can find it here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/Secondary-Antibodies/_/N-1hoaxk4

For immunoprecipitation, does the antibody detect dentaured or native protein?

Asked by: orangina
Thank you for your question. Glut1 Antibody (A-4): sc-377228 is recommended for detection of Glut1 of human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA, so it detects both the denatured and the native protein.

Hi, This product detect GLUT-1 in Mouse?

Asked by: Rigoberto
Thank you for your question. We do not currently recommend this antibody, sc-377228: Glut1 (A-4), for use in mouse samples because we have not yet tested it in mouse. The antibody is raised against a recombinant protein sequence that shares significant (95%) identity with the mouse Glut1 protein. Therefore, it is highly likely that the antibody will cross-react with mouse Glut1. For a limited time, we are offering a free 10 µg sample of this antibody. Please contact our Technical Service Department if you would like to request a free sample to test in mouse. Please call us toll-free at (800) 457-3801 option 2, e-mail <[email protected]>, or use the live chat on our website.
