Has there been any work done to demonstrate that this antibody does not cross-react on the similar FOXC1 protein?

Asked by: FOXC2 investigator
Thank you for your question. This monoclonal antibody is raised against a peptide that is specific for FOXC2 and does not cross react with FOXC1. However, this has not been experimentally confirmed.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-515472 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great specificity! I recently purchased this antibody for WB analysis of FOXC2 expression in murine tumor cell lines. A strong band was observed in wild-type tumor cells, and no band was observed in a FOXC2 knockout tumor cell line.
