Fluorol Yellow 088 is a lipophilic fluorochrome that is used for cell staining of suberin lamellae in plant tissue. Fluorol Yellow 088 can be visualized using UV light microscopy with staining in plant cells. Fluorol Yellow 088 can be used to distinguish the first and second state of endodermal and exodermal development in plant tissue.
