Ferutinin is a potent, naturally occurring non-steroid estrogenic compound. It is an agonist for the estrogen receptor-α (ER alpha) and agonist/antagonist for ERβ with higher binding affinity than tamoxifen for both ERs. It is also suggested as a modest acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor.
