Dihydroergotoxine mesylate binds with high affinity to GABAA receptor Cl- channel. Interacts with central dopaminergic, serotonergic and adrenergic (a1) receptors. Exhibits antirproliferative activity in vitro. Displays cognition-enhancing, anticonvulsant and sedative activity in vivo.
