Concanamycin C is a potent vacuolar-type H+-ATPase inhibitor. Reports indicate that Concanamycins are 18-membered macrolide antibiotics that are active against yeast and fungi, and are effective at nanomolar concentrations. Isolation and characterization of Concanamycin C studies, show that it is also an effective inhibitor of Concanavalin A (sc-203007) induced mouse splenic lymphocyte.
