Clenbuterol Hydrochloride is a beta-2 adrenergic agonist. It acts by binding to beta-2 adrenergic receptors on smooth muscle cells in the airways, leading to the activation of adenylate cyclase and subsequent increase in intracellular levels of cyclic AMP. At the molecular level, it exerts its effects by activating the protein kinase A pathway, which in turn regulates gene expression and protein synthesis.
