BRL-37344 is a β3-AR (β 3-adrenoceptor) selective agonist with lipolytic activity. The β 3 receptor has been reported to have a high affinity towards BRL-37344. Studies show that BRL-373344 promotes thermogenesis and its RR enantiomer acts as a stronger agonist in brown adipocytes in comparison to white adipocytes. Analysis of BRL-37344, isoproterenol, and norepinephrine showed BRL-37334 to be the most potent agonist. BRL-37344 is an activator of β2-AR and β1-AR.
