Anti-β3-AR Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a (kappa light chain) β3-AR antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 351-400 within a C-terminal cytoplasmic domain of β3-AR of mouse origin
Anti-beta 3-AR Antibody (C-5) is recommended for detection of β3-AR of mouse and rat origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
Anti-beta 3-AR Antibody (C-5) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
See m-IgGκ BP-HRP (mouse IgGκ binding protein-HRP), our highly recommended recombinant alternative to conventional secondary anti-mouse IgG reagents.

β3-AR Antibody (C-5) is a high quality monoclonal beta 3-AR antibody (also designated β3-AR antibody) suitable for the detection of the beta 3-AR protein of mouse and rat origin. β3-AR Antibody (C-5) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-beta 3-AR antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-beta 3-AR antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Beta 3-adrenergic receptors (b3-ARs) bind cathecholamines (epinephrine, norepinephrine), and primarily regulate lipolysis and thermogenesis in adipose. b3-ARs are present in adipose tissues, heart, and in smooth muscle of bladder, colon, small intestine, and stomach. The human corpus cavernosum exhibits basal b3-AR-mediated vasorelaxant tone and activity is linked to inhibition of the RhoA/Rho-kinase pathway. b3-AR interacts directly with the SH3 domain of Src through proline-rich motifs (PXXP) in the third intracellular loop and the carboxy-terminus.

What blocking solution should I use with β3-AR (C-5): sc-515763 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?
Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here:
