Anti-Atm Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ Atm antibody, cited in 18 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
raised against amino acids 2581-2860 of Atm (ataxia telangiectasia protein) of human origin
Atm Antibody (G-12) is recommended for detection of Atm of human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
Anti-Atm Antibody (G-12) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

Atm Antibody (G-12) is a high quality monoclonal Atm antibody (also designated ATM serine/threonine kinase antibody) suitable for the detection of the Atm protein of human origin. Atm Antibody (G-12) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Atm antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Atm antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The phosphatidylinositol kinase (PIK) family members fall into two distinct subgroups. The first subgroup contains proteins such as the PI 3- and PI 4-kinases and the second group comprises the PIK-related kinases. The PIK-related kinases include Atm, DNA-PKCS and FRAP. These proteins have in common a region of homology at their carboxy-termini that is not present in the PI 3- and PI 4-kinases. The Atm gene is mutated in the autosomal recessive disorder ataxia telangiectasia (AT) that is characterized by cerebellar degeneration (ataxia) and the appearance of dilated blood vessels (telangiec-tases) in the conjunctivae of the eyes. AT cells are hypersensitive to ionizing radiation, impaired in mediating the inhibition of DNA synthesis and display delays in p53 induction.
