Anti-ALK Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a κ ALK antibody, cited in 5 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 117-145 within an N-terminal extracellular domain of ALK of human origin
Anti-ALK Antibody (F-12) is recommended for detection of ALK of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
Anti-ALK Antibody (F-12) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

ALK Antibody (F-12) is a high quality monoclonal ALK antibody (also designated CD246 antibody, ALK RTK antibody, or type 1 receptor tyrosine kinase ALK antibody) suitable for the detection of the ALK protein of mouse, rat and human origin. ALK Antibody (F-12) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-ALK antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-ALK antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LTK, ALK and Ros have been identified as receptor tyrosine kinases having sequence similarity to the insulin receptor subfamily of kinases. LTK (leukocyte tyrosine kinase) is expressed in murine B lymphocyte precursors and has also been found in forebrain neurons. ALK (anaplastic lymphoma kinase) is normally highly expressed, specifically in the nervous system. A truncated form containing the catalytic domain of ALK is expressed as the result of a translocation occuring in many non-Hodgkin′s lymphomas. The c-Ros gene was originally identified in mutant form as an oncogene. Ros is normally expressed in a small number of epithelial cell types and may play a role in epithelial development.

I want to know whether the antibody (ALK Antibody (F-12): sc-398791) conjugated HRP can be used to examine the ALK rearrangement. Thank you!
Asked by: Leo1234
Thank you for your question. The HRP conjugated antibody is recommended for for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA. It is unclear what your intended research application is that you refer to as examining the ALK rearrangment. Please contact our Technical Service Department for further support.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with ALK Antibody (F-12): sc-398791?
Asked by: Trav11
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems.
A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here:
