8-Bromo-cAMP, 8-bromo-adenosine-3',5'-cyclic monophosphate, is a cell perbeable cyclic AMP (cAMP) analog which activates cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA). This analog is more stable to hydrolysis by cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases than cAMP.
