15-deoxy-Δ12,14-Prostaglandin J2 (15d-PGJ2) is a cyclopentanone prostaglandin and endogenous PPARγ ligand, that is formed via the the dehydration of PGD2 (sc-201221). 15d-PGJ2 acts at PGD2 receptors (DP1 and DP2), and as an endogenous PPARγ ligand it maintains anti-inflammatory functions. This product has also been shown to promote differentiation of fibroblasts to adipocytes and to be a ANKTM1 (transient receptor potential cation channel A1; TRPA1) agonist.
