It is important to select the appropriate blocking buffer for your research applications in order to reduce overall background, and minimize non-specific signals commonly associated with enhanced chemiluminescent (ECL) protein detection methods using Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated primary and secondary antibodies, or mouse IgG binding proteins.TBS Blotto A is recommended to be used for blocking, and as an antibody diluent for both primary and secondary antibody incubations.
