MEN10376 is a NK-2R (Tachykinin (neurokinin 2), NK₂ receptor) antagonist that is used in a variety of neurokinin receptors studies. NK₂ receptors mediate contractile effects in the human small intestine and colon circular muscle strips. Studies show that activation of NK₂ increases that excitability of capsaicin-responsive (C-R) phasic afferent neurons.
