Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, 2X
Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, 2X is a ready-to-use reducing electrophoresis sample buffer solution with bromophenol blue for the preparation of protein samples to be separated in SDS-PAGE. Bromophenol Blue is included with Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, 2X as a tracking dye to monitor the sample during the electrophoretic run. Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, 2X contains DTT (sc-29089), which disrupts disulfide bonds to ensure proteins are fully denatured before loading on the gel. Electrophoresis Sample Buffer, 2X also contains glycerol, TCEP, DTT, SDS, 1.0M Tris-HCl pH 6.7 and bromophenol blue. For non-reducing SDS-PAGE, Electrophoresis Sample Buffer 2X (non-reducing) (sc-45085) is recommended.
