RNF126 Antibody (C-1) is a high quality monoclonal RNF126 antibody (also designated RNF126 antibody) suitable for the detection of the RNF126 protein of human origin. RNF126 Antibody (C-1) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-RNF126 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-RNF126 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The RING-type zinc finger motif is present in a number of viral and eukaryotic proteins and is made of a conserved cysteine-rich domain that is able to bind two zinc atoms. Proteins that contain this conserved domain are generally involved in protein-protein interactions and protein-DNA interactions. RNF126 (RING finger protein 126) contains one RING-type zinc finger domain and is known to interact with TRAF6 (a ubiquitin ligase) and BAT3 (an apoptotic regulator). RNF126 shares 46% overall amino acid identity with ZNF364 (an E3 ligase that is closely linked to human breast cancer) and 75% amino acid identity within the RING domain. This suggests that RNF126 may have a similar function to that of ZNF364. Due to alternative splicing events, two isoforms exist for RNF126.
