LITAF Antibody (30) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects LITAF in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). LITAF, or LPS-induced TNFα factor, is a nuclear protein that plays a pivotal role in the regulation of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) gene transcription, which is essential for the inflammatory response to bacterial infections. LITAF mediates the secretion of TNFα and other inflammatory mediators in response to lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a potent stimulator of monocytes and macrophages. LITAF′s ability to regulate TNFα expression is crucial for maintaining immune homeostasis and responding effectively to pathogens.
