Tris DBA chloroform adduct is an n-myristoyltransferase-1 (NMT1) inhibitor that prevents activation of MAPK, PI 3-K and STAT3 signaling pathways. It can be used as a cyclization catalyst. Tris DBA chloroform adduct also exhibits antiproliferative activity against melanoma cells in vitro.
