SHIP-1 Antibody (P1C1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to detect SHIP-1, also known as INPP5D, in mouse, rat, and human samples. SHIP-1, an SH2-containing inositol 5-phosphatase, is a critical regulator of the PI3K signaling pathway. By dephosphorylating phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate (PIP3) into phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2), SHIP-1 attenuates signaling cascades involved in immune cell activation, proliferation, and survival. This negative regulation is essential for maintaining immune homeostasis and protecting against hyperactivation that can lead to inflammatory or autoimmune disorders. SHIP-1 is primarily expressed in hematopoietic cells and is implicated in key processes such as hematopoiesis, mast cell degranulation, and B cell receptor signaling. SHIP-1 monoclonal antibody (P1C1) targets a highly conserved C-terminal epitope encompassing amino acids 866–1020 in applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SHIP-1 monoclonal antibody (P1C1) is available in non-conjugated and conjugated forms, such as horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and Alexa Fluor® variants. SHIP-1 monoclonal antibody (P1C1) is recommended for research studying signal transduction, immune cell regulation, and hematopoietic development.
