RASSF1 Antibody (3F3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RASSF1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-RASSF1 antibody (3F3) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. The Ras association domain family 1 (RASSF1) protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of cell death and tumor suppression. Located at the human lung tumor suppressor locus 3p21.3, RASSF1 consists of two major isoforms, RASSF1A and RASSF1C, which exhibit distinct functions in cellular processes. RASSF1A interacts with activated Ras proteins in a GTP-dependent manner, mediating the apoptotic effects of oncogenic Ras and thereby influencing cell fate decisions. RASSF1 epigenetic inactivation through hypermethylation occurs in various cancers, including lung and breast cancer, leading to a loss of tumor suppressor functions. Mutant forms of RASSF1A have shown significantly reduced growth suppression activity, highlighting RASSF1′s potential as a critical player in tumor pathogenesis. RASSF1 monoclonal antibody (3F3) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into cancer development mechanisms and RASSF1′s role in cellular regulation.
