    SEE ALSO...

KIF27 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects KIF27 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KIF27 antibody (A-9) is available as the non-conjugated form. KIF27, or kinesin family member 27, is a vital motor protein composed of 1401 amino acids, featuring a kinesin-motor domain that facilitates ATP-dependent movement along microtubules. KIF27 plays a significant role in intracellular transport, particularly in the distribution of organelles and vesicles, which is crucial for maintaining cellular organization and function. KIF27 is also implicated in essential processes such as cell division and membrane trafficking, including endocytosis and transcytosis, highlighting its importance in cellular dynamics. The gene encoding human KIF27 is located on chromosome 9, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia and familial dysautonomia. Understanding the function and mechanisms of KIF27 is essential for elucidating its role in health and disease, particularly in the context of cellular transport and organization.
