    SEE ALSO...

ICAP-1 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ICAP-1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ICAP-1 (B-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ICAP-1, also known as Integrin beta-1-binding protein 1, plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling by interacting with the cytoplasmic domain of Integrin β1 (ITGB1). This interaction is vital for the recruitment of Integrin β1 to focal contacts during integrin-dependent cell adhesion, which is essential for processes such as cell migration, survival, proliferation, and differentiation. Proper functioning of ICAP-1 is important for maintaining tissue integrity and facilitating cellular responses to the extracellular matrix. ICAP-1 is primarily expressed in various tissues, including the intestine, colon, testis, ovary, thymus, spleen, and prostate, highlighting its significance in both normal physiology and potential pathological conditions.
