QUICK LINKS

Glycyl-L-proline (Gly-Pro) is a dipeptide consisting of the amino acids glycine and L-proline, with the latter being an essential amino acid. It has demonstrated the ability to reduce oxidative stress in septic rats and inhibit the growth of Candida albicans in mice. Moreover, Gly-Pro exhibits anti-ischemic effects on neuroactive amino acid metabolism and energy turnover in the neocortex of rats following experimental brain ischemia.
