SEE ALSO...

ST6GAL1 Antibody (LN-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects ST6GAL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-ST6GAL1 antibody (LN-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including phycoerythrin (PE) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), providing flexibility for different experimental needs. ST6GAL1, also known as CD75, plays a crucial role in the biosynthesis of sialylated glycoproteins and glycolipids, which are essential for cell-cell interactions and signaling. Located primarily in the Golgi apparatus, ST6GAL1 catalyzes the transfer of sialic acid to galactose-containing carbohydrate acceptors, leading to the formation of cell surface antigens such as CDw75. This process is vital for modulating immune responses and maintaining cellular communication. CDw75 expression is often upregulated in B-cell leukemias, indicating potential involvement in tumorigenesis and metastasis. ST6GAL1 (LN-1) antibody enables researchers to gain insights into the functional dynamics of sialylation in various biological contexts, particularly in the study of immune cell behavior and cancer biology.

How can CDw75 (LN-1): sc-6263 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: cjMara
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-6263 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-6263 FITC).
