Does all sc lentivirus have the same promoters? The reason I ask is that I have seen others cited using sc lentivirus successfully in Thp-1 cells for LPL. I heard that promoter selection is crucial for Thp-1 cells.

Thank you for your question. Yes, our vector uses an H1 promoter for shRNA transcription.

I read the reference cited here. Is the shRNA targeting the same sequence? I want to make a stable knockdown of ABCA1 in Thp-1 cells. Does your shRNA guarantee knockdown? Does the product come with a positive control for transfection efficiency?

For stable knockdown, you may want to consider using the shRNA Lentiviral Particles. Please contact our Technical Service Department for more information.
