SEE ALSO...

Ninjurin-1 Antibody (50) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Ninjurin-1 protein of mouse, rat, human, and canine origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Ninjurin-1 antibody (50) is available as the non-conjugated format. Ninjurin-1 is a crucial member of the Ninjurin family, which consists of multi-pass membrane proteins that are notably induced by nerve injury in Schwann cells and dorsal root ganglion neurons. These proteins function as homophilic cell adhesion molecules, facilitating axonal growth and contributing to repair processes following nerve damage. Ninjurin-1 extends beyond neuronal contexts, playing a vital role in the formation and function of various epithelial tissues, highlighting Ninjurin-1′s role in both development and tissue homeostasis. Ninjurin-1 is widely expressed across adult and embryonic tissues, particularly in those of epithelial origin, underscoring Ninjurin-1′s significance in cellular interactions and signaling pathways.

I am using Ninjurin-1 (50): sc-136295 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
