Myosin Ic Antibody (13) is a high quality monoclonal Myosin Ic antibody (also designated Myosin Ic antibody) suitable for the detection of the Myosin Ic protein of mouse, rat, human and canine origin. Myosin Ic Antibody (13) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-Myosin Ic antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-Myosin Ic antibody, including agarose, HRP. Actin is a highly conserved protein that is expressed in all eukaryotic cells. Actin filaments can form both stable and labile structures and are crucial components of microvilli and the contractile apparatus of muscle cells. Troponin facilitates interaction between actin and myosin by binding to Ca2+. Troponin is made up of at least two subunits, which are divergent in cardiac muscle, fast skeletal muscle and slow skeletal muscle. Myosin is a hexamer of 2 heavy chains (MHC) and 4 light chains (MLC) that interacts with actin to generate the force for diverse cellular movements, including cytokinesis, phagocytosis and muscle contraction. Myosin Ic (MYO1C) is also designated Myosin I beta. In vestibular hair cells, myosin-1c may be important for fast adaptation.
