Datasheets
  • CNDP2 Antibody (AT15E5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 κ CNDP2 antibody provided at 100 µg/ml
  • raised against a recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 1-475 of CNDP2 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of CNDP2 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, FCM and ELISA
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for CNDP2 Antibody (AT15E5) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with CNDP2 Antibody (AT15E5) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

CNDP2 Antibody (AT15E5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CNDP2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-CNDP2 antibody (AT15E5) is available as a non-conjugated format. CNDP2 is a cytosolic, non-specific dipeptidase that belongs to the peptidase M20A family, playing a crucial role in various physiological processes by regulating peptide metabolism. CNDP2 is expressed across all adult and fetal tissues, with a specific isoform lacking exons 3 and 4 being present in all fetal tissues but only in adult liver. In human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), this isoform, also known as carboxypeptidase of glutamate-like B (CPGL-B), is frequently underexpressed, which has been linked to significant clinical implications, including a correlation with HCC venous invasion and tumor microsatellite formations. CPGL-B overexpression in HCC cells has been shown to markedly inhibit cell viability, colony formation, invasiveness, and tumor formation, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target and a biomarker for HCC progression.
