Signaling Intermediate

Santa Cruz Biotechnology offers a variety of gene silencing products to target signaling intermediates via RNA interference (RNAi). Signaling intermediates can respond to a broad range of ligand activated receptor tyrosine kinases where phosphorylation events play a pivotal role. For a well-known example, the Shc gene encodes three widely expressed proteins which act as substrates for receptors and tyrosine kinases in signal transduction pathways. Growth factor receptors with tyrosine kinase activity phosphorylate and thus modulate the function of Shc. To knockdown expression of signaling intermediates, Santa Cruz Biotechnology offers siRNA, shRNA plasmid and shRNA lentiviral particles.
