SEE ALSO...

ALDH1L1 Antibody (YY8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects ALDH1L1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ALDH1L1 antibody (YY8) is available as the non-conjugated format. ALDH1L1, also known as FTHFD or 10-formyltetrahydrofolate dehydrogenase, plays a crucial role in cellular metabolism by catalyzing the conversion of 10-formyltetrahydrofolate to tetrahydrofolate, a vital cofactor in the synthesis of nucleotides and amino acids. This enzymatic activity helps regulate cellular levels of tetrahydrofolate, which is essential for DNA synthesis and repair, thereby influencing cell proliferation and growth. ALDH1L1 is developmentally regulated in the cerebellum, indicating potential involvement in neurodevelopmental processes. ALDH1L1 overexpression has been shown to restrict cell proliferation in vitro, suggesting a tumor suppressor role in certain contexts. With diverse applications and significant biological implications, ALDH1L1 monoclonal antibody (YY8) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying metabolic pathways, neurodevelopment, and cellular growth regulation.
