TMEM20 (transmembrane protein 20) is a 365 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that contains two DUF6 domains and exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms. The gene that encodes TMEM20 contains more than 62,000 bases and maps to human chromosome 10q23.33. Spanning nearly 135 million base pairs and encoding nearly 1,200 genes, chromosome 10 makes up approximately 4.5% of the human genome. |
