α Tubulin Antibody (TU-02) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa light chain antibody, raised against the full-length α Tubulin protein (amino acids 1-451) from porcine origin. α Tubulin monoclonal antibody (TU-02) detects α Tubulin from a variety of species, including mouse, rat, human, and porcine, and can be used in techniques such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). α Tubulin pairs with β Tubulin to form heterodimers that assemble into microtubules, structures essential for cell shape, intracellular transport, and mitosis. These microtubules are particularly important during cell division, where they form the mitotic spindle, guiding chromosome segregation. α Tubulin is located primarily in the cytoplasm, forming the building blocks of microtubules that extend throughout the cell. α Tubulin′s vital role in maintaining cellular integrity and supporting microtubule dynamics makes anti-α Tubulin antibody (TU-02) a powerful tool for studying the cytoskeleton and related cellular processes. α Tubulin (TU-02) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing flexibility for various experimental needs.
