Granzyme B Antibody (2C5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects granzyme B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin through applications such as western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Granzyme B (2C5) antibody is offered in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Granzyme B plays a crucial role in the immune response by mediating apoptosis in target cells, particularly during cytotoxic T lymphocyte and natural killer cell activity. This serine protease is synthesized as an inactive proenzyme and is stored in cytolytic granules, where release occurs upon degranulation of effector cells.
