Can you give references about specificity? I get very high signal in MDA-MB-231 cells in IF experiments and question my results? Kind regards, Melf

Thank you for your question. ERα Antibody (H-184) is a rabbit polyclonal antibody that is now discontinued. The antibody has been cited in over 100 publications, demonstrating specificity. However, it is a polyclonal and so lot to lot variation is expected and each lot should be validated and optimized. Please contact our Technical Service Department if you would like support troubleshooting the antibody. We would recommend trying our highly recommended replacement mouse monoclonal antibody, ERα (F-10): sc-8002. A link to the product page is provided below as a reference.
