Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid, Sodium Salt is a bile related salt for isolation of lipids and membrane-bound proteins. TUDCA is a taurine-conjugated version of ursodeoxycholic acid, a secondary bile acid. While present in limited amounts in human bile, TUDCA exhibits anti-apoptotic properties in rodent models of tauopathy, and Huntington′s disease.
