IKKα Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects IKKα protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IKKα Antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IKKα plays a pivotal role in the regulation of the NFkB signaling pathway, which is crucial for controlling immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, IKKα is part of a multi-subunit complex that includes IKKβ and IKKγ (NEMO), and is essential for the phosphorylation of the inhibitory protein IkB.
