SEE ALSO...

PRL-1 Antibody (269) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects PRL-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PRL-1 antibody (269) is available as the non-conjugated format. PRL-1, also known as Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Type IVA Protein 1 (PTP4A1), plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and regulation, particularly in cell growth and differentiation. PRL-1 is primarily localized in the nucleus, suggesting involvement in regulating gene expression and cellular responses to external stimuli. PRL-1 is notably induced in regenerating liver and mitogen-stimulated cells, highlighting importance in tissue repair and immune responses. PRL-1 is overexpressed in various tumor cell lines, indicating potential involvement in oncogenic processes. A C-terminal prenylation consensus sequence characterizes PRL-1′s structure, allowing proper localization and function within cells, making PRL-1 a critical target for understanding cancer biology and developing therapeutic strategies.
