hnRNP E2 Antibody (23-G) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects hnRNP E2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-hnRNP E2 antibody (23-G) is available in a non-conjugated form, allowing for versatile experimental use. hnRNP E2, a member of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein family, plays a crucial role in mRNA metabolism, including transcription, pre-mRNA processing, and mature mRNA transport to the cytoplasm for translation. hnRNP E2 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where hnRNP E2 associates with heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA) produced by RNA polymerase II, and is essential for spliceosomal complex formation. hnRNP E2 stabilizes mRNA, which enhances polioviral mRNA translation, influencing viral replication. hnRNP E2 also interacts with other proteins such as hnRNP M, implicated in pre-mRNA splicing and stress-induced splicing regulation. hnRNP E2′s ability to shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm underscores hnRNP E2′s significance in both mRNA stability and translational control, making hnRNP E2 vital for gene expression regulation.
