SEE ALSO...

α/β-SNAP Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects α/β-SNAP of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). α/β-SNAP (G-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. α/β-SNAP plays a crucial role in exocytosis, which is essential for neurotransmitter release and other cellular secretion mechanisms. α/β-SNAP functions as a soluble NSF attachment protein that facilitates SNARE complex assembly, a critical component in vesicle fusion with target membranes. This process maintains proper synaptic transmission and cellular communication, making α/β-SNAP essential in both neuronal and non-neuronal cells. α/β-SNAP interaction with syntaxins and VAMPs underscores α/β-SNAP significance in regulating membrane fusion events. By providing a reliable tool for studying exocytosis dynamics, anti-α/β-SNAP antibody (G-3) is invaluable for researchers investigating synaptic function and related disorders.
