CUL-5 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CUL-5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CUL-5 (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CUL-5 protein, also known as vasopressin-activated calcium-mobilizing protein (VACM-1), plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for regulating protein degradation and maintaining cellular homeostasis. Specifically, CUL-5 is involved in the formation of E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, which facilitate the selective ubiquitination of target proteins, thereby influencing various cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and signal transduction. Proper functioning of CUL-5 is vital, as dysregulation of ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis can lead to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Using anti-CUL-5 antibody (F-6) in research can provide valuable insights into the mechanisms of protein regulation and CUL-5′s implications in health and disease.
