IGFBP7 Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IGFBP7 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IGFBP7 (H-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Insulin-like growth factor-binding proteins (IGFBPs) are a crucial family of proteins that have evolved alongside insulin-like growth factors (IGFs), playing a significant role in regulating IGF signaling. IGFBP7 is particularly noteworthy due to binding both IGF-I and IGF-II, albeit with relatively low affinity. Such binding influences IGF bioavailability, affecting concentration and distribution in the extracellular environment. IGFBP7 is secreted and stimulates prostacyclin production, vital for vascular health, and may act as a growth-suppressing factor, highlighting potential roles in tumor suppression and cellular regulation.
