SEE ALSO...

CD45 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody designed to target CD45 protein, also known as Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type C (PTPRC). CD45 is a vital transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells of human origin, playing a crucial role in regulating immune cell signaling and activation. Located on the cell surface, CD45 modulates signal transduction pathways by dephosphorylating key tyrosine residues on Src family kinases such as Lck and Fyn, as well as on ZAP-70 from the Syk family of kinases, which are essential for proper T and B cell receptor signaling. Additionally, CD45 undergoes significant post-translational modifications, including extensive glycosylation, which are important for stability, localization, and interaction with other signaling molecules. Anti-CD45 antibody (MB4B4) is raised against amino acids 1075-1304 of human CD45 and is effective in various applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CD45 monoclonal antibody (MB4B4) recognizes specific epitopes generated by alternative splicing of the CD45 gene, enabling the detection of multiple isoforms such as CD45RA, CD45RB, CD45RC, and CD45RO, which are differentially expressed among distinct immune cell subsets. Anti-CD45 antibody (MB4B4) facilitates detailed analysis of immune cell populations and their signaling mechanisms, providing valuable insights into immune cell differentiation and function. CD45 monoclonal antibody (MB4B4) serves as an indispensable tool for research and diagnostic applications in immunology and hematology, supporting advancements in understanding immune responses and related diseases.
