SEE ALSO...

CD14 Antibody (61D3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human CD14, also known as monocyte differentiation antigen CD14, by immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD14 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein expressed on the surface of monocytes and macrophages, playing a crucial role in the innate immune response by serving as a co-receptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) detection. CD14 interacts with proteins such as LPS-binding protein (LBP), Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), and myeloid differentiation factor 2 (MD-2) to form a receptor complex that initiates signaling pathways leading to the secretion of cytokines and other mediators from activated immune cells. CD14 exists in both membrane-bound (mCD14) and soluble (sCD14) forms. mCD14 directly responds to LPS and facilitates protein secretion, while sCD14 enables LPS responses in cells lacking mCD14 in the presence of LBP. Anti-CD14 antibody (61D3) is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, making CD14 (61D3) antibody suitable for various applications in studying immune responses and CD14-related signaling pathways.
