QUICK LINKS

Biotin-XX phalloidin, a potent F-actin probe coupled with biotin-XX, serves as useful for selectively labeling F-actin in imaging applications. Derived from phalloidin, a bicyclic peptide obtained from the poisonous Amanita phalloides mushroom, this probe exhibits high affinity and minimal nonspecific staining. Its compatibility with various fluorescent stains, such as fluorescent proteins, Qdot™ nanocrystals, and Alexa Fluor™ conjugates including secondary antibodies, allows for comprehensive and high-contrast visualization and quantification of F-actin in cell cultures, tissue sections, and cell-free preparations.
