ERβ Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Estrogen Receptor beta (ERβ) from mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ERβ antibody (B-1) comes in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, offering flexibility for different experimental applications. Estrogen Receptor beta (ERβ) mediates estrogen effects, a hormone essential for reproductive tissue regulation and bone density maintenance. ERβ primarily functions in the nucleus as a transcription factor, binding specific DNA sequences to regulate gene expression in response to estrogen. Nuclear localization enables ERβ to directly influence target gene transcription, modulating cellular responses to hormonal signals. ERβ also associates with cell membranes, triggering rapid signaling pathways that affect cell behavior. ERβ′s ability to interact with various ligands and distinct activation patterns compared to ERα highlights its role in estrogenic activity regulation, impacting both normal physiology and conditions like hormone-dependent cancers.
