RAP1GDS1 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RAP1GDS1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RAP1GDS1 Antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RAP1GDS1, also known as RAP1, GTP-GDP dissociation stimulator 1, is a 607 amino acid protein characterized by five ARM repeats, which are crucial for stimulating the GDP/GTP exchange reaction of select small GTP-binding proteins. This function regulates cellular signaling pathways that control cell growth and differentiation, and aberrations in these pathways can lead to the development and metastasis of cancers, such as non-small cell lung carcinoma. RAP1GDS1 undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in multiple isoforms that may have distinct functions or regulatory mechanisms. The gene encoding RAP1GDS1 is located on human chromosome 4, a region known for large gene deserts and associations with various genetic disorders, including Huntington′s disease and polycystic kidney disease.
